Mighty Oaks believes a love for reading is part of what it means to be a life-long learner. In honour of this month's Fruit of the Spirit, "Love" and Chung Yeung Festival, where families get together for a day of hiking, looking at chrysanthemum flowers and to care for the elderly, we recommend "Grandpa's Big Adventure". This charming picture book is about the tall tales grandpas tell to entertain their grandchildren. Filled with “dad” jokes, the words and illustrations work beautifully together to create lots of humour that will tickle adult readers as well as kids.
