"We’re Going on a Bear Hunt" is an interactive book about a brave family going on a hunt for a bear. By listening to a range of descriptive vocabulary, the children can imagine themselves on this fantastic journey!
Extension Activity: Set up a tent with bedsheets hung over sturdy chairs. Climb inside the tent with your child and sing/chant the verses and use gestures to mimic the actions. Feel free to run with your imagination and change the verses to anything you can think of, such as “Uh-uh! Gummy bears! Many squishy gummy bears”. Together with your child, come up with silly actions.
