To learn about solids and liquids, our pre-nursery kids explored their senses, using ice cubes. We love sensory play at Mighty Oaks as it allows for many unstructured learning experiences where children have the freedom to explore and discover the world around them. Sensory play is also a wonderful learning opportunity for imaginative play, language exploration, fine motor development for pre-writing skills and so much more. Look at those smiles on their faces!
