This Christmas, challenge your family to dig deep and think of things we are thankful for and most importantly, "why". By focusing on the "why", we teach our children on how to be aware and appreciate people/things that are positive in their lives, so they will learn to better care for them, and act with more kindness. Here are some questions that can help you jumpstart the conversations: "Why do you like that they do that? Why is it important for you to have that? How does this person make you feel when they do that? Why is it important for you to feel that way?" Let's fill this thankful soup up with all the positive things this Christmas!
