Juicing at Mighty Oaks
Tuesday, April 17, 2018
Juicing is a great way to introduce new foods into a child’s diet. Children who drink fresh juices tend to eat more vegetables and are therefore less likely to fall sick. Cutting fruits and making juice is a fun, practical life lesson that develops hand strength and fine motor coordination, which will be needed later in learning to write. Look at the level of concentration our children exhibit. Finally, they get to taste the sweet fruit of their labour! At Mighty Oaks, we believe in a healthy diet and we commit to serving only organic and healthy foods at school.
