Parenting Tip: What time does your kid go to sleep?

Did you know irregular bedtimes may affect healthy brain development in young children? Children who have a regular sleeping schedule do better at reading, maths and spatial skills tests compared to children who sleep inconsistenyly. This result is more apparent in three year old girls more than boys. Scientists thinks this maybe because sleep deprivation directly affects the brain's ability to remember and learn new information. Thankfully, the actual bedtime has little effect. Stay tuned for more parenting tips from Mighty Oaks!
