In our pre-nursery activity this week, we looked at the differences between loud and soft sounds. Our class used a variety of tools to beat the different items hanging up on our musical washing-line. They had great fun exploring their sense of hearing, and discovering which things were the loudest! This can easily be done at home with a wooden chopstick or spoon, and a variety of (non-breakable!) household items.
