Our students’ well-being is our utmost priority. For the health and safety of everyone, the following preventative safety measures and arrangements will be implemented at school:

Before leaving Home:
• Parents/Guardians should take their children's temperature before going to school,
• Being vigilant about symptoms including fever, chills, sore throat, headache, muscle aches and cough,
• Have children stay home when they are ill until they are symptom free.

Entering the School:
• Both parent and child are required to wear face masks,
• Disinfect the soles of your shoes by stepping on the disinfectant mat at the school entrance,
• Scan "Leave Home Safe" and present your vaccination record (at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine is required)
• All participants must clean their hands with hand sanitisers and have a mandatory temperature check. Anyone with a temperature of 37.5˚C or above or exhibits symptoms e.g. cough cannot enter the school. The class will be cancelled and rescheduled. Please consult the doctor as soon as possible.
• Parents are required to fill in an electronic “Student Declaration Form for Travel History and Health Status” (via google form) for their household members.
• For hygiene reasons, each Mighty Oaks student/Camp student should wear indoor shoes for use solely in the school campus. All Acorn Playgroup participants will wear socks in the school campus.
• To avoid any food allergies, children are not allowed to bring any food products to school except in special situations.
• To avoid crowd gathering at the school, we kindly ask you to arrive punctually. During pick up and drop off, only one adult will be allowed to enter the school premises.
• For hygiene purposes, please prepare a water bottle for your child.

During Activity:
• All participants are required to wear face masks during class,
• All participants are required to wash their hands before and after each activity,
• Physical contact (e.g., handshakes, high fives) are not encouraged.
• Hand sanitisers and wipes are available at the school entrance and in every classroom,
• All teaching materials and the classrooms will be disinfected before and after class.


Other Preventative Measures:
• Maintain good indoor ventilation by opening classroom windows,
• The class size will be limited,
• Transparent table partitions will be used during snack time to maintain physical distancing,
• Hand sanitisers and wipes are available at the school entrance and in every classroom.
• All teaching materials and the classrooms will be disinfected before and after use,
• A deep sanitization is scheduled every day-end,
• Employed GERMAGIC™ to do regular fogging that is known to be effective to eliminate SARS-CoV-2 (Meeting US EPA requirement in non-enveloped viruses removal efficacy, 3rd party tests from Australia and Japan) and over 100+ viruses and bacteria for up to 90 days,
• Our school is equipped with IQAir and Molekule purifiers.

We thank you for your understanding and support of these new measures. We shall continue to closely monitor the situation and do more as appropriate. These are challenging times and we would like to reassure you that the safety of our Mighty Oaks families, guests, and staff is of utmost importance.
