Squishy Square vs Spatious Square!
Wednesday, January 22, 2020
To develop spatial sense and strengthen the concept of shapes, our K1 teachers played a game during music and movement time. The children walked around in a circle, and when the teachers shouts "tight" or "loose" the children will have to squish themselves in the small square or run to fit comfortably in the large square. The K1 kids loved this game!
Many of our pre-nursery and K1 children have been celebrating the arrival of their new siblings, which is wonderful - lots of stories have been heard by our teachers of new baby brothers and sisters. With Christmas just around the corner for many families, let our Hong Kong Kindergarten Specialist give you some pointers on how to support firstborn children in order to build long-lasting positive memories and relationships with all the family.
