Teach our kids bravery, not perfection.
Wednesday, October 18, 2017
Last year, Reshma Saujani received a standing ovation for her TED talk in Vancouver, Canada. Saujani is best known as the founder of Girls Who Code, a nonprofit that aims to initiate young women into the tech world. Her goal: one million women in computer science by 2020! Watch this video and be empowered to teach our children "to be comfortable with imperfection, because when we teach girls (and boys) to be imperfect, we will build a movement of brave women (and men) who will build a better world for themselves and for each and every one of us." Failure does not determine our future.
